The most common reason that photos won’t upload is that they are too large. Item photos must be less than 3MB. All images have a maximum width of 800px and maximum height of 600px. It’s important to keep all of these numbers in mind when you’re cropping and resizing your photos in preparation for uploading them to your Zibbet shop.
To determine the file size of an image, right click the file and select ‘Properties’ from the pop up menu. In the middle of the Properties box you’ll find size information for the image.

To change the dimensions of your images, you’ll need a photo editing program. Use the ‘resizing’ option. Most digital cameras come with basic photo editing software. There are also several websites that offer the use of free photo editing tools. One of the more popular sites is www.picnik.com. This is an easy to use program and includes all the tools you need to resize your images.
Your profile image, or avatar, should be cropped square and not smaller than 70px X 70px. The file size should also not exceed 3MB.

If you’re sure that your images are not too large and you continue to have trouble uploading them, contact us at support@zibbet.com for technical assistance. Please include any error messages you are receiving along with the URL of the page where the error is occurring. Finally, attach one or two photos that won’t upload for you so that we can try to replicate the problem as we search for a solution.
