Working With Your Shop’s Inventory: My Favorites

I just spent some time going through the inventory in one of my jewelry shops, taking care of some housekeeping chores. One task that I had really neglected was that of removing the ‘favorite’ designation from sold and unlisted items. I did this by clicking the ‘My Favorites’ link on the ‘Listings’ page in ‘My Zibbet’. Items designated as ‘My Favorites’ are those that randomly appear at the top of a shop’s front page and change with each screen refresh. Please note that ‘My Favorites’ aren’t the same as ‘My Wish List’ items which are items that you’ve found in other sellers’ shops that you want to remember and perhaps purchase in the future.

When I list a new item, I mark it as one of my favorites so that I have a variety of items that will randomly appear on my shop’s front page. When an item is sold or unlisted, it’s not automatically removed from your ‘My Favorites’ list. By going page-by-page through your ‘My Favorites’ list, you can remove whatever items you no longer want designated as your favorites.

Come back next week to learn more tips and suggestions for working with your shop’s inventory.

Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!
