Featured Zibbeter - TheLostRooms

The Lost Rooms is really a treasure chest of forgotten objects, antiques and vintage products in Birchrunville, Pennsylvania.

The Lost Rooms of Forgotten Objects was began  in 2009 by Mary Kaye and aided by her husband who also shares the eagerness from the search. She develops from a lengthy type of decades of “squirrels” who saved, saved rather than put anything away.  She was trained while very young to value the things they had and recognize its effectiveness.

Please benefit from the interview, leave Mary Kaye a comment, after which make use of the Share Tools so others can see it, too. Please spread the Zibbet Love!

A university graduate having a BFA along with a very long time advertising artist. Together with my hubby / business partner and three felines (two rescues) we currently survive 4-1/2 wooded acres of PA inside a 175 years old home.  I allow us a proper anxiety about character and poison ivy.

Tough one. An enthusiastic readers, a vidiot (yes, that’s a thing) of old movies, sci-fi and history. I enjoy learn and can research anything. I’ve ski’d the Alps, grew to become a licensed scuba diver, and before concentrating on accumulating our ad agency, I traveled the world extensively. ( I haven’t managed to get to Australia yet, but it’s on my small bucket list) These days I’m glued to some monitor with design work and due dates.

Fascination with our past and things we no more use today.

From a large family, I was raised using what I figured at that time was old but nonetheless functional.

The Lost Rooms began in '09 in an effort to have some fun ferreting out individuals same pieces…the unusual, the gorgeous, the odd object that may be repurposed into something totally new.

The title originated from my ancestral home that goes back towards the late 1800s and it is full of left overs from decades of family people who've remained there at some point. You will get lost (and lose) things in individuals rooms.

Creators! It boggles my thoughts to consider how their brains must work. Madame Curie, Edison, Einstein, the man who invented aspirin. (bless his heart)

Travel!  I love going to other nations, smelling new smells, seeing new sites and getting new encounters. ! Oh, and sleep, I become alive and unconscious simultaneously.

It’s diverse from most sites. Small, yes, but this type of possibility of growth and incredibly friendly. It’s nice.

From the designer’s perspective a far more current look and simplicity of use, however i hear that’s coming. Apart from that more advertising by Zibbet to advertise the website.

TheLostRooms is marketed only on the internet. I produced a glance which i use everywhere. It had been tough for me personally when i prefer anonymity however i became a member of Facebook, Wanelo, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. (anywhere without accumulating an expense) using my shop title.

I actually do distribute business card printing whenever I travel. Flicker and Instagram are a couple of I’m considering after i have time. Also, having to pay focus on changes from Bing is important.  So I come up with head lines and tags “google-friendly” and go ahead and take best photos I'm able to. I attempt to give great customer support hoping repeat business.

Stay, market your work whenever and wherever you are able to. Develop your personal following using everything on internet if that's in which you only sell. Take great pictures, be descriptive and then try to keep your shipping towards the exact amount. Be friendly, even if you’re exasperated.

Upon the market and residing in a civilized poison ivy free area from the forest with perhaps a couple of neighbors. (my hubby is reading through this)
