Featured Zibbeter - IzzysPlace

Pat Galasso, a talented crafter who enjoys living in the small New England town of Bethel, Connecticut, has a delightful shop on Zibbet  and we are very happy to have her here.

Izzy’s Place is filled with whimsical handmade glass pendants. You are sure to have a lot of fun deciding which ones you want. Pat has another shop on Zibbet she calls Izzy Knits.

We are very happy to have Pat as a member of Zibbet. If you love this interview as we certainly did, please use the “Share” tools so that others may enjoy it, too. Spread the Zibbet Love!

I live in a small town in Connecticut and love the atmosphere. I retired last year and I love it. Now I can get up in the morning and do what I please and it’s usually crafting. It’s a beautiful thing.
I was married for 41 years to a wonderful man and we have 3 beautiful children. My daughter & her husband live right next door to me and my son and his family live in Delaware. My youngest daughter is with my husband in heaven and they are both in my heart always.
I love to craft. My daughter helps me with the knitting shop. She’s quite gifted in the art of knitting and cross stitch. I have done many areas of crafting but I think I have found my niche with these two handcrafts.
Like to travel but I don’t fly. Visit my children and grandchildren quite a bit and my sister and her family. Love to just get in the car and go. Living in a small town you get to know everyone and I love to go visiting the shops in the downtown area. Everyone is so friendly.

Have 2 dogs I adore, Missy, a Cocker Spaniel and Scooter, a Yorkshire Terrier. They were given to me by my son who thought I needed something to do in retirement. They keep me busier than my children ever did. Also like to read and do so every chance I get. Weather permitting, I like to walk. It clears my head and opens my mind.

I have 2 shops here on Zibbet. I love the idea of creativity in my pendants. Small things can say so much. If people love them and they make them smile, that’s a good thing.
I also knit and crochet with my daughter. My passion from age 7. I had a very patient grandma who taught me well. I think of her whenever I create an item.

I look up to my children. Without them I wouldn’t have made it through some pretty rough times in my life.

My grandchildren are my passions in life. They sustain my being and keep me young.

Top on my list are the admin’s. It’s so nice to be on a venue that truly wants their sellers to succeed. I love the community and the ease of operation of our shops.

Zibbet has just about everything I would want at the moment in a handmade venue. I love the layout and the ease of use.

I recently created a Facebook Page and I advertise my work by word of mouth. Also, I’m not shy and I hand out my business card to everyone I come into contact with. I have a blog and I do like to promote other awesome shops on Zibbet as well as my own.

Love your shop and make the most out of your creativity. Success doesn’t happen overnight. Don’t ever give up and don’t under estimate the value of your work.

able to watch my grandchildren grow and thrive. I also hope I can continue to maintain my shops on Zibbet. I love crafting and feel everything handmade comes straight from the heart.
