Back on August, 9th, 2010, I saw an article in Elan magazine about Muslim sellers on Etsy. I was disappointed that a) I was not included, since I was one of the founders of the MuslimTeam (and its current Captain) and b) that Etsy was being promoted when they don't even acknowledge Eid as a holiday alongside Christmas and Hanukah on their website. This one article proceeded into a year long dialogue with the editor of Elan.
Tonight an article about a Muslim seller (me) on this much cooler site called Zibbet was published: http://elanthemag.com/a-crafty-arab/. Because here on Zibbet, they are open minded and unprejudiced to include all three major world religions on their website. Please consider going in to comment about how remarkable Zibbet is for being the one and only online craft shop for doing this. Feel free to link up to your shops in your comments! I'm hoping that the readership of Elan (which is the top Muslim lifestyle publication online) sees how many Zibbet sellers love selling here, they'll come to your shop to encourage this supportive community…
