I am 47 years old and was born and raised on Long Island, New York. I have 2 sons, a grandson and hopefully by the time this is printed, a grandaughter. I live in the beautiful state of Maine and have been creating things since I was a little girl.I enjoy taking photos of nature, cooking and playing trivia games. I also enjoy tending to my plants and watching them grow.I am totally inspired by Mother Nature. I have been a nature lover since I can remember and everything about it inspires me to create. Many of the things I create are connected in some form or another to nature. It can be colors, images, materials or even the names I give to the creations.
I look up to myself. I am the person I am today because of me. I had a rough childhood and have suffered through the loss of many loved ones including my husband and mother. I have been able to pick myself up by the bootstraps and move on without any help from anyone else. So this is why I say I look up to myself. I am a strong woman and I look up to other strong women who have the same things in common with me.My children and grandson are the passions in my life. I love them more than anything in this world and would do anything for them. Sadly I do not get to see my grandson anymore because of issues with his mother. I miss him terribly and hope one day soon she will wake up and see the wrong she is doing. I also am passionate about the planet.
I like that we are allowed to have a free shop with no strings attached. I also love the fact that the Community is so friendly, warm and supportive. Not only the sellers, but the Admin are always there to help out when they are needed. That is a rarity in communities such as this.I would like it if the free shops were able to use the sales mode. Other than that I love Zibbet just the way it is.I promote my work on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Pinterest, Wanelo and Kaboodle. When I sell an item I also send a business card along with it. That way if the customer loves their item, they will know where to find me again. Word of mouth is also a way that works for me. I made 5 sales the first month I was here after I posted on FB and word of mouth.
I would recommend that sellers get involved in the Community. It is a great place to promote their items, find answers to their questions and get support from other sellers.sitting right here creating new stuff and posting it on Zibbet! I would also love to open up a taxi cab company here in my city. The service that exists now is horrible and I know I would be able to make great improvements. Maybe when I win the lottery that dream will come true Tags: Bohemain Grove, Featured Zibbeters
