Customer Service Tips

High quality products combined with top notch customer service create a winning combination for both you and your customers. Here are a few tips to help you focus on providing your customers with service that will encourage them to make repeat purchases and to tell their friends about your great shop.

Make sure that your shop policies are clear, concise and comprehensive. Written shop guidelines can help avoid misunderstandings.

Attend to your shop regularly. If you have to be away, put your shop in Vacation Mode so that purchases can’t be made until you’re available to communicate with buyers and ship their purchases.

Respond to inquiries from potential buyers promptly and politely. Often shoppers have questions before they buy and it’s up to you to answer those questions in a timely manner.

Always be professional and don’t take it personally if you find yourself dealing with an unhappy customer. Part of being professional is avoiding the temptation to ‘vent’ in public places such as Zibbet’s Community Hub or on Facebook.

On rare occasion, you may have to take a loss to keep the peace. Doing so is most likely going to benefit your business more in the long run than having a customer leave negative feedback.

The easiest way to provide excellent customer service is to treat your customers with the same respect and professionalism that you expect  as a customer yourself.

Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!
