Wife, mother of three, grandmother of six, cook, gardener, cleaner upper and for the past 30 years, a professional crafter. I evolved over the years, going from a dollmaker, to a salt dough artist, then to working with bread dough to make beautiful and realistic roses and most recently with cold porcelain to concentrate on floral jewelry. I like to read and am constantly trying to understand the technology available to further my on-line business. Once the warm weather arrives, I’m out digging in the dirt, planting flowers, pulling weeds and talking to the deer.I’m inspired by the colors of various flowers, their shapes and how they grow.
My husband has always inspired me. He is the type of person who, if he doesn’t know how to do something, will pick up a book to learn about the subject, and then do it! He has taught me so much about business practices and the importance of being ethical when we worked together in another business and has always been supportive of my efforts to build my own business when he moved on into another job.My family is very important to me and I love to see everyone together but it doesn’t happen as often as I would like. I also like to travel and really loved traveling to do craft shows outside our local area but I’ve retired from doing them
