Fantastic Five: Let The Sunshine In

It was 1969 when I went to see the musical “Hair” at the Aquarius Theater on Sunset Boulevard  in Los Angeles. Whenever I hear the song, “Let the Sunshine In” I remember that night.

Yellow, one of the warm colors can perk up your wardrobe or add excitement to your home.

This week’s Fantastic Five is a collection of bright, sunshiny yellow items for the home and for wearing. After reading “Let the Sunshine In” you can search yellow to find over 5,000 more yellow treasures to choose from on Zibbet.

1. “Sunny Path” medium size art glass bowl by Steider Studios $350: This intense bowl caught my eye. The handmade glass bowl is laced with 22K gold. The artist says, “Bring the sun home with this gallery quality work of art.” Steider Studios glass products are kiln-formed.

2. Zipper Flower Headband in Yellow by Texas Eagle $9: This bright, sunny headband made with zippers has more uses. It can also be worn as a choker necklace and used as a fancy garter. Such a unique accessory!

3. Bright Yellow Leather Cuff Bracelet by Emily de Molly $35: Wear this intricate work of art around your wrist. The leather bracelet was created with a laser cutter. Emily can make this bracelet in any color. Many styles to choose from in her shop.

4. Fun in the Sun - Girl’s Bucket Hat by Love, Oma $18: Looks vintage, but it’s a new handcrafted hat by “Love, Oma.” The “Fun in the Sun” hat was made with yellow denim fabric and it’s lined with yellow polkadot cotton fabric.

5. Yellow Roses Crocheted Doily by My Blooming Threads $20: This Zibbet shop’s slogan is “Creating tomorrow’s heirlooms today.” Hand crocheted with 100% cotton thread, the doily is trimmed in sunny yellow and features six yellow roses. Ask the seller about other colors.
