I just viewed your shop, it is displayed so well. I am having trouble selling, but I haven't worked much on my site. You have encouraged me just by viewing, maybe I can get mine up and going too.

And it was so nice that she had taken the time to tell me that my shop had inspired her to do more in her shop. And my shop is definitely far from perfect...I am constantly adding more things and tweaking titles and descriptions and trying to improve my photos. But the more I work on it the better it gets and this week my new shop banner that I just purchased from Judy @
PortableGraffitiGraphics is something that I think is another big improvement. It is a work in progress but that "pat on the back" from Karen @
Angelswithoutwings really made my day.
Then when I visited her shop I discovered that she is a fellow dog-lover and she is an artist who does portraits of animals and has some of the cutest things in her shop! I ended up buying a doggy treat container that I had never even thought of shopping for. I have a drawer that I put the treats in but they always seem to get put on top of the microwave..and then I see this in her shop and it was like "Perfect! here's something that I never even looked for but could really use". So I told Karen that it was an honor to be her first Zibbet buyer and what a nice way to meet new people :)
But it lead me to thinking that other venues do have the "heart" or the "like" or the "favorites" etc.etc. and sometimes even if you aren't selling much you at least have some sort of validation that someone out there likes what you are doing :) So until we get that "button" or whatever is in the works for this venue...wouldn't it be nice to take a little extra time and send someone a message like Karen did to me? "Hey I think your shop is great"..."Hey I like that little girls' dress"....or whatever the case may be. And maybe a lot of you out there are already doing that but I hadn't done it here. But now I am going to start doing it whenever I can. What a nice way to meet new people and to spread some Zibbet Luv :)
