I am a mother to three children. Eric 31, James 23 and Keren who passed away in March of 2006 at the age of 23. I live in Texas with my husband Steven and our cute little pug named Pepper.I write articles and poems on Grief-child-loss and coping with these emotions. Several of my poems and articles have been published. I also work very closely with other grieving parents and offer support, friendship and hope.Of course my daughter Keren does. I make these handmade wooden shelf angels in her memory and her beautiful spirit. A lot of my business comes from making angels for other people who have lost love ones. Tribute angels.
My angels are personalized with their love ones- name and sometimes birth and death dates and sayings that are special to only them. I have also made angels for newborn babies and children to sisters and grandmothers or sometimes for just a nice gift to give to a friend. I have a lot of people tell me my angels have their own personalities and they do. When I make them for a customer I always ask for a picture of whom the angel is being made for and I try to emulate them as close as possible to that person. I make boy angels and little girl angels, I make country rustic angels and of course my best sellers, my personalized angels. I also hand make adorable kitchen towel angels to hang in your kitchen. They are made out of kitchen towels and matching potholders to look like the angel’s wings. Again I design them for the customers with their favorite color and theme, be it flowers or a coffee theme etc.
I look up to my daughter and always will and I look up to other grieving parents because of their strength, hope and for them to still have the capacity to love after the most horrific and tragic event happened to them, losing their beloved child. We look to one another for hope, and strength to carry on. We are truly survivors.I would have to say camping. Living here in Texas, there are some really beautiful places to camp. I love when my husband and my little pug just hitch up our trailer and get away for a few days. I love the peace and beauty of nature. To me there is nothing like having a deer eat an apple right out of your hand.Zibbet is such a nice company. They really care about their sellers. If you have a question or a concern, they will get back to you asap. It’s their personal touch that makes it so nice to be part of their community.Zibbet is doing a ok in my book.I use Facebook and Twitter.
Promote your work of course and interact in the Zibbet community and get to know your fellow Zibbet sellers. There are many talented wonderful people here on Zibbet.Living in a spacious 5th wheel in the beautiful Texas Hill country with my husband and my pug Pepper. Still writing articles on grief to help the new parents who have just lost their child and are feeling so alone and of course making my angels in my beautiful daughter’s name Keren.Tags: featured zibbeter, Keren Angel
