Wanelo

Promoting our work online can seem like a daunting task. There’s so much great competition out there and being seen sometimes looks impossible. But don’t despair! Everyday new websites seem to be popping up offering opportunities for promotion. Wanelo is one of those sites. Wanelo, which is a combination of the words ‘want’, ‘need’ and ‘love’, is a fun place to post links to your own items as well as those of others. Opening an account is quick and easy and free. In no time, you’ll be populating your ‘collections’ with inspiring items and hopefully seeing an increase in both traffic and sales in your shop and Zibbet in general.

Your new Wanelo account will come with a few empty collections, ready for you to add products. You can also create your own collections and remove the existing collections that you don’t plan to use. In addition to posting new items to Wanelo, you can save existing Wanelo items to your own collections. Saving an item gives it a ‘vote’ and has the potential of moving the item to Wanelo’s front page. Like other social networking sites, you can follow and be followed by other Wanelo participants. Stores, as well as individuals can be ‘followed’. Zibbet’s presence on Wanelo is growing and is gradually gaining a following.

Here are some Zibbeters on who’ve posted Zibbet items on Wanelo. I’m sure they would love to have you follow them and I’m betting they will follow you back:
