Promotion Quick Tip: Section and Front Page Links

Getting the word out about your latest and greatest listing is important. The monthly new listings discussion on Zibbet’s Community Hub is a popular place for Zibbeters to gather and share photos and links to new listings. Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Wanelo postings are also effective ways to tell the world about what’s new in your shop. While links to specific items are very important, don’t underestimate the value of sharing links to your shop sections and to your shop’s front page. While a link to a new item will bring potential buyers into your shop, the shopper may or may not explore other areas of your shop. However, if shoppers enter your shop via a section or front page link they are automatically shown multiple items at first glance, thus increasing the chances that they will remain in your shop longer. The longer they stay, the more items they’ll view and the more likely they are to make a purchase.

Posting links to your sections and front page also helps build incoming links to your shop. Incoming links from credible sources are very good for your shop’s SEO.

Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!
