11. I just noticed that sold items show prices. Can I shut that off? Is that going to be the case on the new Zibbet?

I don't see it as a terrible thing if the sold price shows.  I helps to keep prices competitive.

I did, however, check your sold items and couldn't find any prices.  Am I missing some details?

Perhaps the sold prices are only seen by the seller. Did you check your shop when you were not signed in to verify that the sold prices are really viewable to others?

Angela Carter Permalink Reply by Angela Carter on June 17, 2011 at 11:12am Let me compete with current shops, not my own developing pricing strategy.  Pricing is the bane of my existence, and you have to be able to play with them to find the right balance of being fair-being profitable. ? Reply

Kohana Designs Permalink Reply by Kohana Designs on June 17, 2011 at 3:38pm I visited angela's sold items,  I can't see the price tag for sold items and when  I enlarged them, only the shipping and handling fee is disclosed..

Debbie StGeorge Permalink Reply by Debbie StGeorge on June 17, 2011 at 7:08am Like D & P said, I  thought you could only see the price of the sold items if you were in your own shop and logged in. Like if you went to someone else's shop and clicked on the sold items, you can not see the price? At least it appears this way on my browser. ? Reply

LOC Design Studio (Vicki) Permalink Reply by LOC Design Studio (Vicki) on June 17, 2011 at 7:41am Prices are only visible to the seller of the items when that seller is logged in to his/her account. If you log out of your account and look at your sold items you won't see the prices. That's how others will see it as well. It's important to remember that when you are logged in, listings and sold items look slightly different than they do to the public. ? Reply

Vicki,

Anyone can see the price the items sold for in anyone's shop by clicking on the enlarge image. They can't see it in the listing, but they can see the price it sold for in the enlarged image.

Judy (Zibbet Moderator) Permalink Reply by Judy (Zibbet Moderator) on June 17, 2011 at 8:58am So it appears as though most people don't know that and most people wouldn't look at enlarged images when an item has been sold anyway. ? Reply

OK, I just clicked to enlarge a sold item's image and I do see the price. I never did that before. I would prefer that the sold price not show.
