Fantastic Five: Carolina Zibbeters Luncheon

Making friends on Zibbet is a lot of fun in the Community Hub, but some members have taken the new friendships a few miles further. Barbra of All About The Buttons organized a luncheon so these Zibbeters could meet in person for the first time in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Rebecca (Raige Creations) lives outside of Asheville, North Carolina. She picked up Terri (Paper On Parade) who also lives in Asheville. They drove about 40 minutes.

Carolyn (Grandmothers House) lives in Hendersonville, NC and Carolyn Mitchell (Just My Imagination) lives in Mills River, NC. Barbra (All About The Buttons) lives in South Carolina and drove a bit over an hour.

Carolina Babies Sweeter Than The Tea by Grandmother’s House $5: What better item for this Carolina feature than this sweet embroidered shirt made by Grandmother Carolyn! Another shirt with the same saying says children instead of babies. I bet you could get her to make one that says Carolina Zibbeters.

2. Just For Fun Bracelet by Just My Imagination $65: What fun it would be to wear and hear the jangle of this bracelet made with new lamp work beads, vintage glass beads and sterling silver beads. Just My Imagination has a shop full of pretty jewelry of all kinds.

3. Black and White Floral Clock by All About The Buttons $23: Handmade treasures at All About The Buttons have buttons incorporated into most of her crafts. Barbra has a large selection of clocks as well as crocheted items, barrettes, magnets, eyeglass cases, tape measures…useful goods you’ll want to get your hands on.

4. Commemorative WHVVD Listing Mini Key Strap by Paper On Parade $10: Terri’s key fobs can be personalized with embroidery and are a very popular item on Zibbet. You’ll find key straps in many designs from lady bugs to footballs. Get them monogrammed with initials, words or names for a truly personalized gift.

5. Purple Tassel Lined Purse by Raige Creations $16: This awesome shoulder bag handmade by Rebecca is fully lined and large enough to hold all the important items you need to take with you. It possesses elegance for a dress-up affair, but also goes well with jeans for a casual outing.

Who will be next to organize a Zibbet Luncheon Gathering?
